Ridiculous old white men

Virginia's Republican Governor Bob McDonnell recently revived the absurd Confederate History Month, which previous Republican governors had also celebrated (while also insulting millions of blacks and other Americans in the process). However, what McDonnell and other ignorant old white men neglected and continue to neglect, who seem to pine for the days of the 19th century, is that the root cause of the American Civil War and the secession of southern states was slavery. Wrong. Slavery was a crucial aspect of Virginia's secession from the Union. Anyways, it's astonishing, outrageous and insulting to see these people in action.
