Octopus steals camera, shoots footage

An American living in Wellington, New Zealand, Victor Huang, went diving last week to shoot some under water footage, when an octopus pried a camera from his hands and filmed some footage itself:

The camera itself is sort of bright blue and metallic and shiny, and I think it just saw something a bit different and unique and wanted to collect it for its little gypsy collection.

Huang followed the octopus for five minutes and eventually placed his hand in its mouth and got his camera back. Despite Early Show co-host Harry Smith mentioning that octopus beaks can crack rocks, Huang added:

I honestly felt completely safe with the octopus. If I didn't have to get into work at 9:00 am, I would have stayed out with it for hours just to sort of hang out with it.
