Mexican police on the drug war frontlines
The battle against Mexican drug cartels has few succeses to celebrate. Approximately twenty-eight thousand people have been killed in drug violence since president Felipe Calderon was elected less than four years ago, and opened up a new and disastrous front in the failed drug war.
