Irish travellers facing increasing discrimination
Irish travellers, a nomadic people with their own language and traditions, say that maintaining their way of life is becoming increasingly difficult. Many say they suffer discrimination, resulting in poverty and a shorter life expectancy. Approximately ten million people make up the travelling and Roma communities in Europe.
