Protests turn violent in Kashmir

Eighteen people have been killed in demonstrations in the last twenty-four hours in Kashmir. However, the long standing dispute regarding independence was not the only reason for Monday's protest. Outrage over threats to burn the Quran in America led to attacks on Christian schools in the territory.
