SAFER Executive Director Mason Tvert appeared on CNN to discuss Proposition 19, the initiative that would control and tax cannabis, similar to how alcohol is regulated and taxed. The debate focussed on the alcohol industry's recent contribution to the campaign to defeat the marijuana legalization initiative. An opponent of the initiative, a communications consultant hired by the alcohol industry, was flat-out schooled by Tvert.
