Hamas fighters threaten peace talks
Hamas fighters have threatened to launch new attacks against Israel in order to undermine peace talks which the group has described as "useless". The announcement follows the first face-to-face talks in nearly two years between Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, in Washington. The two agreed to meet regularly to work out a framework for peace.
