India's grain rots as poor go hungry
Approximately four hundred million impoverished people in India cannot afford to buy grain, and instead they depend on the government for food. In order to feed the impoverished, India applies a decades-old distribution system. But supplies in some warehouses are now contaminated and India has been accused of allowing thousands of kilos of grain to rot while millions starve.
