Guatemala struggles to recover
The worst rains in approximately fifty years have overwhelmed towns and triggered dozens of landslides, killing at least forty-six people. Rescue teams are trying to recover bodies of victims buried under tonnes of mud and debris in the western region of Solola. A landslide took villagers and rescuers by surprise, who were trying to save victims from another landslide in the same area.
