Guatemala hit by heavy rain
Guatemala is currently experiencing one of the heaviest rainfalls in its history, resulting in devastating flooding. The country's weather service says the higher than average rainfall will continue for another twelve more weeks. The floods first swept across central Chimaltenango City burying a bus and killing at least ten people. More than twenty-nine thousand people may have been affected by the rain, with twenty-four thousand potentially in danger.
