Ohio voters reject anti-union law

Voters in the midwestern US state of Ohio have voted to reject anti-union legislation backed by the Republican governor and legislature. The original measure had been aimed at trimming costs by limiting the collective bargaining rights of trade unions. The Republican legislature said the law was vital to save money. However, the workers wanted the measure repealed on the grounds that it discriminated against their members. Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Washington.
