Canadian commander charged for having an affair

Canadian Press video: Military police have charged a former commander who was in charge of Canada's Afghan mission and a female subordinate after they admitted to having a sexual affair in the field. Master-Corporal Bianka Langlois admitted she had an affair with Brigadier-General Daniel Menard in Afghanistan. I don't know about anyone else, but I really can't comprehend what's so dangerous, nor see a threat to national security if two people in the military are seeing each other.
