Typhoon hit Philippines appeals for help
The Philippine government and United Nations have launched a global appeal to help the many victims of Typhoon Bopha. Last week's storm is now known to have killed more than 600 people, and almost 800 more are still missing. Five million more have lost their homes in the country's south and need food, water and shelter. Al Jazeera's Marga Ortigas has more from Davao.
