The path out of poverty
More than 46 million people in the US live below the poverty line but its an issue that is largely being ignored by both presidential candidates. But in Boston a new approach to tackling poverty has turned the lives of hundreds of families around. The Family Independence Initiative claims its programme is helping families out of debt, improving children's school grades and all by getting people to work as a community. Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports.
