Wikileaks: Afghan war details leaked
The Wikileaks website has uploaded more than 90,000 classified documents regarding the Afghanistan conflict. The leaked documents, presumabely coming from an Afghan intelligence operative or insider, indicate that the number of civilian deaths throughout the conflict has been severely underreported. The leaked documents also suggest that Pakistan's main intelligence service is secretly supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan, and that a covert unit of U.S. special forces has been assigned to capture or kill senior Taliban leaders without trial.
