Sarah Palin admitted this past weekend that she used to receive treatment within our public health insurance or single-payer system. Until she was six years-old, Palin lived in a remote Alaskan town which is near Whitehorse.
We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada, and I think now, isn't that ironic?
Palin has railed against and demonized public health insurance, while essentially championing the private health insurance industry, who of course are doing the lord's work. But I don't think she's smart enough to realize that she's basically admitting that our system was good as, or even better than the American system.
