The leaders of several Latin American countries want an international
review of drug policies. The issue was brought to the centre of
international attention after two US states voted to legalise
recreational marijuana use last week. The issue is no laughing
matter for the presidents of Mexico, Belize, Honduras and Costa Rica.
They say their efforts to fight drug smuggling, often with deadly
results, will be affected. Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports from Washington.
