Hundreds of thousands of students in the Canadian province of Quebec have been protesting over plans to raise university fees. For seven weeks, there have been class boycotts, demonstrations and occasional angry confrontations with police. The students now plan to target Quebec's unpopular government. With an election expected next year, the students are threatening to use their votes to keep tuition low. Al Jazeera's Daniel Lak reports from Sherbrooke.
