After an absence of 22 years, Panama's former military leader Manuel Noriega has begun his journey back home from a Paris prison after doctors declared him fit enough for extradition to the Central American nation. A shadow of his former self after spending over two decades behind bars for drug racketeering convictions, the 77-year-old one-time double agent is expected to be re-tried on charges that he ordered the killings of political rivals.
