Giving your family a break: Practical first steps
Jack Layton and the New Democratic Party are providing a practical platform which addresses the needs of average Canadians while helping those struggling, including the middle-class, working poor and impoverished. Capping credit card rates. Removing the Harmonized Sales Tax from home heating bills. Cutting taxes for small businesses while raising corporate taxes. Affordable housing. Addressing issues which directly effect First Nations' peoples and seniors. Strengthening pensions and hiring more doctors and nurses. Electing more women, and championing proportional representation. You will hear none of this from Stephen Harper, and very little (if any) from Michael Ignatieff.
