Joe Pantalone: Sustainable neighbourhoods
Toronto Deputy Mayor and mayoral candidate Joe Pantalone discusses his love for Toronto and his contributions to building vibrant neighbourhoods through public-private community partnerships. As a city councillor for the Trinity Spadina neighbourhood, Joe helped revitalize the Trinity Community Recreation Centre facilities, and provide green energy sources during amalgamation budget cutting era. Joe helped to develop Trinity Bellwoods Park into a beloved park, enjoyed by residents, tourists and community groups. Joe helped with the growth and development of Queen West into a vibrant arts and local retail scene. Joe assisted with the relocation of the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art to complement the bustling arts community in Trinity Bellwoods. And finally, Joe also facilitated the ongoing construction and vitalization of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, into an innovative mixed use and environmental community space.
