Jeremy Scahill on Countdown last night

Independent journalist Jeremy Scahill appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann last night to discuss the complaints of former Bush administration officials who feel that President Obama should have praised and thanked former President Bush for the Iraq War and the "surge". These same officials lied about the reasons for the illegal invasion, and are now lying about the surge myth, that bribing Sunni militias was the key reason for the reduction in sectarian violence in Iraq.
