Jon Voight is insane

Actor Jon Voight appeared as a guest on former Arkansas Republican Governor Mike Huckabee's Fox News program this weekend, and demonstrated once again that he is completely insane. Voight would take the opportunity to read a letter he wrote in which he criticizes President Obama for being a socialist and Marxist.

The American People are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration. President Obama feeds people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy ... [Obama uses] a socialistic, Marxist teaching, and with it, he rapes this nation.

I suppose then that the fact President Bush bailed out Wall Street and the big banks from economic collapse does not equate socialism for corporations in Voight's view. According to Voight and the teabaggers, the financial meltdown should not have been stopped when it was and it should have escalated with a complete collapse of the American and global economy, with twenty to thirty percent unemployment and quite possibly another great depression. Voight would go on to invoke god and for people to get involved with the Tea Party movement.
