Patrick Kennedy rips the media a new one

Democratic Representative Patrick Kennedy launched a blistering attack on the American media, calling them "despicable" for not adequately covering the Afghanistan occupation and the debate of the issue in the House of Representatives, while focusing "twenty-four seven" on former Congressman Eric Massa. While a little over the top, such a speech is long overdue and a deafening wake-up call that today's dumbed-down, tabloid, soundbyte media is doing a major disservice to the citizenry by not doing its job.
