Well after eight years of mismanagement, of closing hundreds of schools and hospitals; leaving the province with a budget deficit; forcing the City of Toronto's finances into disarray after forcing amalgamation onto the GTA, gutting funding for the Toronto Transit Commission; downloading the bills for provincial services onto the City of Toronto; cutting taxes while cutting funding for the province's infrastructure and other crucial services like health and safety inspection; former professional golfer, neo-conservative and all-around flunkie Mike Harris is doing pretty well as a corporate flack for Magna International Inc. Harris earned over a million dollars for attending twenty meetings and providing business consultation for Magna and other firms in 2009. So essentially for Harris, public service and implementing a hard, far right-wing corporate agenda down Ontarian's throats through two majority governments, without receiving majority support from the electorate (our antiquated first-past-the-post voting system), were just stepping stones to get rich quick in the corporate world by attending some meetings.
